Hotels, Bars and Restaurants
SDA Architects have been involved with the design and construction of a diverse group of hotels. This varies from boutique high class hotels to international golf resorts to large franchise 4 star hotels etc. Included in our portfolio of completed works is the Mount Juliet Hotel in Thomaston in Kilkenny, which was the conversion of an 18th century country house into a 5 star hotel and a golf resort. Also completed in this same style was the Rathsallagh Country House hotel in County Wicklow, which is a boutique country hotel of approx 40 bedrooms. In addition to the above the practice is increasingly working on larger hotels for the franchise hotel industry. These hotels range from the budget 2 star hotels to the more industry standard 4 star hotels complete with the associated conference meeting facilities and leisure facilities depending on location and on clientele objectives.
